Industry of Images

The show tells a story of the fashion industry in the USSR with Moscow at its center. A network of Moscow fashion houses was designed to create the image of the new Soviet citizen. The display features sketches of famous couturiers, design drawings, garment prototypes, and video and archival materials.

We took charge of the technical direction, equipment selection, and lightning design for the project. The primary objective of our multimedia team was to create an additional semantic space within the show, incorporating carefully curated archival materials. Ensuring seamless integration with the show’s design, we opted for light and transparent solutions for most areas. We also implemented a double-sided retro-screening zone with directional sound, while the central projection was placed on a podium, serving as a captivating centerpiece of the entire exhibition.
